Operose Health, December 2025
We are pleased to announce that Operose Health has signed the “NHS Sexual Safety in Healthcare – Organisational Charter” developed by NHS England. This is a significant step forward in our commitment to creating a safe, respectful and inclusive working environment for all colleagues.
Why this matters
- The charter establishes a zero-tolerance stance toward any form of unwanted, inappropriate or harmful sexual behaviour in the workplace. By signing the charter, Operose Health commits to upholding this standard and ensuring a culture of respect and safety.
- The charter sets out a comprehensive set of 10 clear commitments, from fostering openness and transparency, to providing robust support for those affected, ensuring effective reporting mechanisms, delivering training, and taking swift, fair action against perpetrators.
What this means for Operose Health
By joining the charter, Operose Health is pledging to:
- Promote a culture where all colleagues, feel safe to speak up if they witness or experience sexual harassment or misconduct.
- Maintain clear, accessible policies and reporting systems to handle concerns promptly, fairly and with transparency.
- Provide training, support, and information to empower colleagues and ensure everyone is aware of acceptable standards of behaviour and reporting pathways.
- Monitor and capture data on colleague experience and prevalence of incidents, to understand and address causes, and drive continuous improvement.
Our commitment
At Operose Health, we believe that everyone working in healthcare, regardless of their role, deserves to feel safe, respected and supported. Signing the charter is not a symbolic gesture: it represents a serious and actionable commitment to embedding dignity, safety and equality in our workplace culture.
We will be working to integrate the charter’s principles into all aspects of our operations, ensuring colleague wellbeing remains a top priority. Implementation will include colleague training, clear reporting and support mechanisms, and ongoing monitoring to ensure our workplaces are free from harassment and abuse.
We look forward to fostering an environment where every single colleague can thrive, free from fear or discrimination.
