The Lister Practice will hold a Health and Wellbeing Open Day on Friday 22 September at 101 Peckham Road, London SE15 5LJ between 12pm and 3pm as part of an initiative to promote better healthcare awareness across the area.

Open to all residents, the event is an opportunity for existing patients to meet their surgery team and for local residents to register with a local GP practice. There will be a walk-in flu clinic available for those who are eligible for their annual vaccines.

Members of the surgery team will be on hand to answer any questions patients may have about the practice. There will also be the opportunity to meet with representatives from organisations including Southwark Carers, Diabetes UK and Prostate Cancer UK, and to learn about other local services that can help with their health and wellbeing

Practice Manager Dean Nagle, who has been instrumental in organising this event, said: “The Health and Wellbeing open day is a fantastic opportunity for the local community to learn more about the practice. Our team here are keen to raise awareness about all the health services available to patients and the local community. The event is open for all residents to attend and we very much look forward to welcoming as many people as possible.”
